I'm so sorry to hear that your Johnny had crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. It's hard when they leave us. Rucky sounds wonderful and I look forward to seeing some pictures of him. :-)

Mick Anderson replied:

Thanks Kathy!! I have an idea for an image featuring Johnny and the Rainbow Bridge. Hope to bring it to realization soon :)

Hello Mick - from a fellow Corgi lover. I have three - a tricolor like your handsome Johnny, a red and white, and a fluffy. I love the piece above - wonderful photo. I could watch Corgis sleep all day long. Yes, I find them that entertaining. L/F

Mick Anderson replied:

Hi Kathy! We lost our dear Johnny last December, but have welcomed a new corgi to our home named Ruckus, or "Rucky" for short. He's a joy and has brought incredible light to our home! Thank you so much for that great comment, and I MUST visit your photos for a chance to see your "family" :)))

Yes, this sweet little guy has a pretty good deal going for himself! Eat, play, sleep - what more could he ask for :) fv

Mick Anderson replied:

He's just a constant joy, for sure!! Glad you like this restful "pose"... :)))

It was in this magical place where he met several fellow students from other parts of the country who would change the direction of his life by introducing Mick to nature, the mountains, the guitar and singing, fly fishing, writing music, hiking, and -- most importantly -- the Single Lens Reflex camera! He had a chance to play with Pentacon, Yashica, Pentax, Nikon and other brands, leading cameras of the day. It opened up a whole new way of looking at the world, and started a hobby that quickly grew into a passion that has stood the test of many years. His first “real” camera was a Yashica “Electro-35”...
