Description
Mount Shasta can be seen for over a hundred miles in all directions and is a southern landmark in the Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest. This is final light on the mountain just before the sun vanishes in the west on a winter's eve. This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 3, one of the last truly nice film cameras the company made during the transition to digital.

I've always stood in awe of this natural landmark and the surrounding areas. A fine capture on that old piece of equipment.
Mick Anderson replied:
Thanks Glenn! That mountain is never the same each time I pass it. This was one of the nicest scenes I've come across traveling I-5 in that area.

Mick Anderson replied:
Thanks for the compliment, Nick! Hope to get up to the mountains east of your town later this year :)
