Description
The Living Memorial Sculpture Garden is 13 miles northeast of Weed, California, on Highway 97. It's open from sunrise to sunset, and is free to the public. More information can be found at lmsgarden.org. The memorial garden is a collection of sculptures by artist Dennis Smith, and is dedicated to veterans of all conflicts the U.S. has been involved in from the Revolutionary War to the present. The "POW-MIA" sculpture is an emotional presentation representing the conditions of captured U.S. combatants during wartime. This attraction is well worth the visit!
