Description
This is the Fuju, or Apple, persimmon... delicious and ready to eat hard, not soft. I was introduced to this fruit by my dad many years ago down in northern California -- and now grow them in my garden here in southern Oregon! Yum!!!

Shirley, the persimmons are just now forming on the tree for this year's crop. They should be ready in November -- a late crop, for sure! And you're right -- each one is a jewel!! Thanks for the nice comment :))
