Description
This image was hand-held, 1/4000 shutter, f32, ISO 100, ND filter held in front of 70-300mm lens set at 300mm (450mm; 35mm equiv); Sony a55 SLT. There was a light high cloud cover which fortunately didn't hinder the process of capture! Some post processing was done in Photoshop to enhance the image.

Mick, I missed this, but I'm glad that I got to see your excellent capture of it! Can't believe you weren't using a tripod. Voted

Yes Mick and I captured it indirectly on my fence and a wall. See the posted photos. It was magical!

Excellent ring Mick. Did you notice the shadows when it was at its full eclipse that was very strange but cool!
Mick Anderson replied:
It was lightly cloudy here, which I think actually helped my photography! It was a bit dimmer than usual which I attribute to the eclipse. It was all very cool!
