Great composition of a beautiful setting!
Mick Anderson replied:
Thank you Suzanne! You should see the narrow path on the edge of a cliff that this was taken from! :))
Sally Bauer
Beautiful capture of the lighthouse, love the point of view so it's wonderfully framed! ~L/F
Mick Anderson replied:
Sally, this is one of my older photos from the time I lived just south of this lighthouse. I'd love to spend more time now that I have some advanced digital gear :) Thank you for the wonderfully warm words!!
Jennie Marie Schell
What beautiful colors and light! L
Mick Anderson replied:
Jennie Marie, I was living about 10 miles south of this location at the time and raced to get there when I saw this evening sunset developing :)) Gotta do it again in digital one day! THANK YOU for the nice comment!! :)

Wonderful work. Love the tones. v/f
Mick Anderson replied:
Jamie, I hear that the glass has been broken out of this lighthouse... a real shame considering its history. This is why our work as photographers and artists is so important!!

This picture immediatly attracted my attention. A most unusual lighthouse image in such inviting colours.Really beautiful mood and composition. v/f
Mick Anderson replied:
Thank you Jane! The trail to this viewpoint is quite narrow and steep... so I'm very happy the result attracted your attention :)

Wonderful photography Mick. Great subject, superb composition and spectacular capture. Goes right to the top of my all time favorite lighthouse images. f/v, and twice if I could.
Mick Anderson replied:
I've very happy you like this image, Douglas. It is my personal favorite, too :)
James Eddy
Wonderful shot Mick. Those colorful clouds are amazing. It was hard hiking there in the daytime. I understand what using a flashlight might have been like.
Mick Anderson replied:
I used to know this place like the back of my hand... I photographed many weddings there in every conceivable location, including inside the lighthouse! Thank you for the kind words :)

This was an original film shot taken in the late 1990s... I need to try it again in digital!! :)

I love these colors and when the sky turns this color it's amazing!

Thank you so much! It's the color that attracted me to the scene in the first place :)
